I watch almost every video you can find about nutrition and health. I also use my NetFlix account to watch any health related DVD's they have in stock. Last night I watched a documentary that I received in the mail a few weeks ago and hadn't had time to watch it. The DVD is called Cancer Is Curable Now.
I must say that I was very moved with this documentary, and even amused at times. I am a firm believer that diet and lifestyle are contributing to our alarming and exponentially growing rates of cancer incidence in this country. It is no secret that cancer is booming in the US.
It was President Nixon circa 1971 who declared a "war on cancer." But how far have we come with this war? It seems we are losing! Some may even say we have lost. But is cancer really a battle that must be won? Or is cancer just a message, a message from our bodies telling us something?
And that's part of the message in this educational video. Cancer, according to the documentary, is a sign of imbalance. And theoretically by restoring that balance, the cancer (or message) will subside.
There are practitioners all over the world that are using alternative holistic healing therapies to treat cancer. And many would claim they are doing so with great success. My favorite is Charlotte Gerson. I just think she's an amazing woman. She is actually carrying on the work of her father Dr. Max Gerson. And she treats hundreds of patients a year with the Gerson Therapy with great success. You should see the documentaries produced about the Gersons as well.
